It was a little cloudy that morning but luckily the rain held off until literally the second we got in the car to drive home but the clouds didn't put a damper on our day in the slightest. Once again it was a huge turn out which made for some fantastic people and dog watching. Somehow the walk went by way quicker this year and we wrapped it up by perusing through the many vendors like we did last year. This year I had a little more self control and didn't drop a fortune on all the goodies the vendors had -- your bank account thanks you, Katie.
Our dream team for 2016 consisted of me (duh), my momma Deanna, my sister Abbi, my niece Gianna, my cousin Madison, and her friend Devon. Thanks to my beautiful team for joining me on this adventure, you are all champs! Also a big thank to those who donated to the cause including my grandma Rita, my Aunt Debbie, Eileen who was on our team last year but sadly couldn't make it this year, my best friend's mom Michelle, and my momma Deanna -- Hurray for friends and family, you are all a bunch of peaches!
I'm not going too far into what it was like since I've already written a post last year on how all the festivities take place (you can read it here if you missed it). I just wanted to write up a little post thanking my peeps for their support and of course post the doggy perspective video -- aka the real reason you're all here anyway.
Since we did the perspective from Petie's view last year we decided to pop the GoPro on Leonard since a) he's much taller so the view will be vast change of scenery and b) it felt suiting since he was adopted by Madison at the last Furry Scurry.
If your here because you received one of my post cards while walking the Furry Scurry from us and chatted with me about the GoPro on Leonard, welcome! So glad you stopped by!
