The Furry Scurry
This was my first time experiencing the Furry Scurry and I must say I wish I had known about it sooner!

Foothills Animal Shelter
If you read my intro blog and or my bio, you know that Foothills Animal Shelter is what led me to the revelation that dogs are my passion. In honor of that, I am making the first featured charity Foothills.
Foothills is an open-admissions facility, this means that they never turn away an animal. They carry dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, reptiles and even fish. You name it; they’ve probably had it.

Furthermore they raise awareness to the public about the harm that puppy mills do. If you are unaware of the kind of harm I’m talking about Google puppy mills and prepare to be horrified.
Here’s their official mission statement:
“To rescue, rehabilitate and rehome discarded breeding dogs and to educate the general public about the cruel realities of the commercial dog breeding industry.”
