Dog Park Reviews
Chatfield Dog Park
For this adventure my cousin Madison and I took her Labradoodle Wheezy to the Chatfield dog park. Madison has a state park pass so she takes Wheezy there all the time. The park is huge and there is an awesome lake the dogs can swim in, Wheezy seemed to love it!
The park is in the northeast section of Chatfield State Park. It’s a good 69 acres of grass, trees, dirt, mud, paved trails, dirt trails, lakes, ponds, and of course excited read more...
Tony Grampsas Dog Park
This dog park is in Golden, sneakily hidden behind some baseball fields in the Tony Grampsas Memorial Sports Complex. Just park in the main parking lot and follow the sidewalk North like it’s your yellow brick road till you get to the entrance right next to the back baseball field.
The park is two and a half acres of trees, bushes, hilly, naturey goodness. It’s not the biggest of parks I’ve been to but where it lacks in size it makes up in landscaping. You feel like you’re read more...

Elk Meadow Dog Off Leash Area

The park is a whopping 107 acres of mountainous open spaces, beautiful greenery as far as the eye can see, simple trails, hikes, a large space for the pups to socialize, meadows, creeks, everything you would hope for in a dog park in read more...
Cherry Creek Off Leash Area
When we went to the off -leash area in Cherry Creek State Park I intended for it just to be a quick drop by so I could get a sneak peak on how it looked since I’d never been there. I really came to Cherry Creek to find a nature walk to post. Well that nature walk never did happen that day.
We ended up getting distracted by the giant off leash area and spending all the time we had there. Oops! I swear that nature walk review will happen read more...
