I kept the name the shelter Laverne came from gave her to keep her and her sister, Shirley, connected in some way since I couldn’t take them both home. By the way yes, that is Laverne and Shirley just like the show. You can see Laverne’s bio for the whole story. We chose Petie simply because my dad always wanted a dog named Petie. Boom. Both names, easy peasy.
Picking a name for your furry friend doesn’t always come as naturally as it did for us. That’s why I’m here. Im going to whip up a list of clever, original names that suit you and your dog. Although I suppose you could really use a lot of these for just about any pet.
Annnnnnd here we go!
