Change number one is I am now taking a small college business class that should help give me the tools to really help Adventures With Rover continue to grow and flourish. It's only one day a week so don't fret it won't get in the way of what we've got going on here.
Change number two is I fell upon the chance to work at a doggy day care part-time and I decided to go for it. Before my main source of income was self employed dog sitting in people's homes which during the busy summer season meant practically living out of a suitcase and jumping from stranger's house to stranger's house and I was not down for doing that again this summer.
So now I'll just be doing the occasional dog sitting in people's homes and working at the day care. The pro is again, no more living out of a suitcase. And the con is that I no longer make my own schedule like I did when I was totally self employed.
This will just make things a tad more difficult around here. But don't worry! It will just mean me juggling things a little differently than before it won't impact how frequently I post, the days of the week I post just may be a little more random. Before, my sort of unofficial post day was Friday, now my post day will be whatever day that week I have time to post. But it will still be weekly!
I'm really excited about all the new things I've got going on, it's just going to be hectic as hell. But I'm actually pretty okay with that.
Oh and yes, working at a doggy day care is exactly as amazing as you would think it is. I spend most the day breaking dogs that are playing a little to rough (or one could say, "ruff" ha! Man I love puns) and cock blocking the humpers and somewhere between doing those two things I get lots and lots of snuggles and play time with all sorts of furry friends. It's certainly not for everyone, but it is for me!
